Civil Designer

Your new company
Our client is a leading engineering consultancy with a range of projects for major clients in the WA urban development sector. From planning to delivery, the team has managed several medium-large scale projects including whole community developments.

Your new role
You will get the opportunity to work with and learn from industry leaders, gaining exposure on a diverse portfolio of projects including residential and commercial land development, civil infrastructure, and urban development. Your new role will include but not limited to:

• Technical design and documentation of projects
• Liaise with local authorities, clients, contractors, other consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Site inspections - including inspecting civil works to ensure compliance with project documentation and specifications for work undertaken by contractors.
• Embracing a strong digital work environment and delivery culture
• Working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design

What you'll need to succeed
This full-time position is perfect for a candidate who is looking for the next step in their career and wants to work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment. Your previous experience in a similar role within this area will lead to your success, as will:

• Project experience in areas such as land development, master planned subdivision and civil infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and 12D will be highly regarded
• Demonstrated self-management; ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes
• Ability to liaise with engineers to establish design requirements
