RetireAustralia is the largest private owner and operator of Retirement Villages in Australia. Our purpose is to serve our residents and customers and be the best retirement community owner, operator and care services provider for older Australians. RetireAustralia currently operates a portfolio of 28 established villages throughout New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia.
About the role
We are currently recruiting for a friendly and experienced Cleaner to join our Belrose Country Club Retirement Village on a casual basis in support of our Care Team. This role is an integral part of developing RetireAustralia to become one of the leaders in the industry, placing our residents at the centre of everything we do. The main duties will include:
- Providing cleaning duties in a friendly, professional and courteous manner
- Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service
- Maintaining privacy and confidentiality as per policies and procedures
- Monitoring conflicting priorities and expectations
- Contributing effectively and working within the team
- Reporting and recording any maintenance problems
- Participating in spot check quality audits with the Village Manager
About you
You will have strong experience in a similar domestic or commercial cleaning role and above all are passionate about the retirement industry and contributing to the lives of others. You must be proactive, be flexible and have strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people. You will also have:
- A valid National Police Check
- A current First Aid Certificate
- A current CPR
- Full availability
- Clean, neat and tidy presentation
