Hays has partnered with our client, a worldwide distributor of specialty chemicals. Our client has newly created this role. There is an opportunity to grow and move around within the company at a later stage.
Your new role
Your day-to-day activities include but are not limited to:
• Manage customers, orders, stock and dispatch arrangements
• Serve as a main point of contact with customers, end-to-end order management of orders
• Manage quarry orders & stock levels
• Coordinate deliveries with manufacturing and dispatch officers
• Timely notification to customers of delays/issues with production/delivery order changes/order cancellations
• General administration adhoc duties
What you'll need to succeed
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
• Ability to juggle multiple, competing work agendas to meet deadline
• Strong geographical awareness to ensure orders are placed on correct warehouse and correct products
• Excellent time management and organisation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Customer service, dispatch, logistical knowledge, administration, agriculture background, manufacturing experience, ERP/SAP experience are all highly desirable
