Field Support Officer

Your new company
This Government Department based in the Hunter Valley is seeking an experienced Field Support Officer to join their ICT Support team for a 12 month contract.

Your new role
In this role you will:

• Provide support education and guidance in the deployment and maintenance of computer infrastructure diagnosis and resolution of technical problems and issues
• Deliver and support ICT services for the departmental offices involving the diagnosis and resolution of incidents and deployment of standardised infrastructure, hardware and systems.

What you'll need to succeed
With a strong customer service focus you will have experience in the below:

• Onsite IT Support skills and fundamentals
• Network printers, DHCP management, server shares, operating systems, switching and TCP/IP
• Diagnosing and resolving ICT incidents and issues via remote support tools, telephone and on-site
• Must have a valid drivers license with a good driving history record
• Physically able to lift heavy objects following safe work practises.
