Your new company
A global business that provide their high demand product to businesses across the FMCG, food, beverage, retail and commercial industries both globally and locally. With multiple sites across Sydney our client is a leader in the market. With an exciting new opportunity our client is looking for an experienced and qualified Electrician to drive Lean principles and production efficiencies on the afternoon and nightshift.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the organisation and maintenance of the day-to-day running of the site, production lines, associated plant/equipment and fixed property. You'll ensure conformance to statutory and company approved Safe Operating Procedures as well as keeping the equipment performing at its required production rate. You will take part in approved training modules associated with the production line maintenance whilst also maintaining a Preventative Maintenance Program in relation to the production line to ensure there are minimal unplanned stoppages and breakdowns.

Also, you will actively participate in and provide guidance of all maintenance procedures relating to the production lines. A key focus will include maintaining accurate records pertaining to corrective and periodical/planned maintenance procedures. You will carry out all electrical maintenance activities in a professional and proactive manor to ensure the plant and equipment are maintained to the highest possible standards. Its crucial you are proactive in the continual improvement of the plant processing equipment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You will have worked as Electrician on a manufacturing or automated intralogistics facility.
  • Holder of a current an unrestricted Electrical Licence.
  • Holder of a current Australian Electrical trade certificate
  • Have a thorough understanding of the current Australian electrical wiring rules.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of electrical fault finding and repair.
  • A thorough understanding of the principals of Electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and associated production line equipment and plant.
