Hays has partnered with an industry leading commercial hvac plumbing contractor and a fantastic opportunity has arrived to join their team as a Mechanical Plumber on a full time basis. My client specialises in all areas of commercial and semi-commercial air conditioning installations. Our client always strives to look after their employees. This role allows you to work independently, and you will be trusted to represent the company professionally on client sites. They are dedicated to OH&S and expect the same commitment from their employees. This is a full time opportunity and work would be all around Melbourne.

Your new role
As a qualified mechanical plumber, you will hold the relevant competencies, experience and knowledge in work related to the mechanical class of plumbing. Here, you will be responsible for installing new or replacing old ducted systems, split-systems, VRV/VRF systems and work with evaporative cooling, gas heating and hot water services in this role.

What you'll need to succeed

• VBA Registration & Qualification
• Hold a white card
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Provide own hand tools and basic power tools
• May be required to obtain a working with children check and police check
• Working at Heights certification (favourable)
• EWP Licence (favourable)
