Your new company
Hays has partnered with multiple industry leading plumbing contractors with extensive experience in commercial construction, water features, drainage, irrigation and general sanitary / maintenance works as well as the capacity to handle large complex projects. Our client has a reputation for completing high-quality work on schedule and under budget. Due to continued demand in the market, they are looking at adding multiple experienced general / sanitary plumbers to their team. They are dedicated to OH&S and expect the same commitment from their employees.

Works would involve servicing, repair and replacement of hot water, heating, all general plumbing duties such as rough-in and fit-offs on major commercial projects. Gas fitting experience would be advantageous.

Your new role
This role requires you to use your knowledge to help solve problems and feel satisfied when you do successfully. Ideally, you will have experience in:

• Roughing in water and gas
• Fitting off fixtures and appliances
• General maintenance
• Lockups including flashings / roof work
• Drainage/repairs
• Hold adequate hand tools to perform tasks required of a registered/licenced plumber
• Working within a team and independently to complete daily tasks to a high standard and within deadline
• Interested in long term employment and becoming a valued member of the team

What you'll need to succeed

• Hold a VBA Registration & Qualification
• Hold or obtain a White Card
• Provide your own tools and transport
• Be available to start immediately
• Have the ability to read plans and follow instructions.
• Be reliable, self-motivated and a good communicator
• May be required to obtain a working with children check and police check
