We are looking for an experienced vet nurse with well-established medicine and surgery exposure to assist in our new vet clinic in Dubbo. The role provides a true opportunity to expand your skills as a Lead Veterinary Nurse with the following key responsibilities:

§  Deliver personalised and dedicated client care to all patients and owners

§  Undertake general nursing tasks including pre and post operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care

§  Maintain overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment §  Give medications to animals

§  Assist our Veterinarians when performing examinations and treatment

§  Mentor and coach the team members

Essential criteria:

§  Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or relevant higher qualification

§  Minimum of 2 years relevant experience

§  Excellent animal handling skills

§  Must possess extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures

§  Exceptional organisation, communication and customer service skills

Salary: $54,000 to $64,000 depending on experience plus Super
