Welder

We are actively recruiting for experienced Welders within our metal trades team in the Bassendean area with the following experience highly desirable:

About the roles:

Fixed Plant Welders:

• Fixed plant welding experience - Crushers, chutes and screens
• Refurb and scheduled maintenance
• Overhead Crane Operation

Heavy Machinery Welders :

• Stainless flux core Welding experience
• Aluminium Welding experience - MIG up to 30mm in all positions
• Heavy manufacturing experience, ideally previous experience within the rail industry.
• Working on locomotives or rolling stock desirable
• Experience and competent in the use of gantry cranes up to 50t
• Inspect and interpret drawings and specifications and determine method of manufacture and standards as required

To be considered for the role you require to hold the below:

• Relevant Trade Qualification
• Current WA Drivers License
• Full Australian Working Rights
• High level of measuring skills and eye for detail and quality standards
• Ability to pass D&A screen and Safe screen assessment
• Strong communication skills. Both oral and written
