An anonymous male caller made the threat at 8.15pm, causing club management to evacuate up to 150 patrons and staff, duty manager Michael Murphy told the Post.
Police from Goulburn and the district swarmed on the night spot and searched the facility for just over an hour before declaring it safe at 9.35pm.
They closed access to Clifford St and McKell Place. Ambulance and Fire Brigade were also on hand.
Many of the patrons, some of whom were enjoying a meal when the threat was made, left the club soon after it was evacuated.
