The BOM (Bureau of Meteorology) Severe Weather Warning on Monday was for destructive winds, damaging winds, heavy rain, abnormally high tides and damaging surf covers the areas of Metropolitan Sydney, Northern Rivers, Mid North Coast, Hunter, Northern Tablelands, Illawarra and Central Tablelands forecast districts.
But a large cloud mass travelling south ensured Goulburn received it's own downpour with further rains and potentially severe conditions expected for much of south east NSW.
The Weatherzone forecast for Tuesday is: Cloudy with scattered showers during the day. The chance of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Winds E/SE 25 to 40 km/h shifting SW 20 to 30 km/h in the morning then tending W/SW 15 to 20 km/h in the late afternoon. Daytime maximum temperatures in the mid to high 20s.
