It has been another great season for the girls in the AFL Canberra Women's competition, losing just four games- each of which were tight tussles against division one teams- and finishing on top of the division two table.
Having not lost a single second division match for two years now, Anderson said it would be important for his girls to keep up the supportive play they have showed all season to win the competition.
"We need to get a hold of the ball and have good support players around the ball carrier, and that's been pretty successful for us," Anderson said.
"They need to get in and get the ball as well. Get in, get it, back up, and then move it forward- it's simple."
The Tigerettes boast one of the strongest line-ups in ACT women's AFL, with young gun Cassie Reid having been apart of the NSW/ACT's most successful youth national championships campaign in May, while ACT representatives Hannah Dunn and Ella Ross were named in the team of the year last Sunday night.
Lani Watson, Stephanie Ingall, Tegan Tisma, Carly Res and Meaghan Godrey also represented the ACT against NSW in two games earlier this year.
Anderson said the confidence of the side was high with the lineup they have.
"Cassie's very quick and damaging when she takes players on, so she can really blow out a game," he said.
"They're all naturally confident I think, but the rep scene has certainly lifted their standards."
About half the team is also in its first year's playing AFL, with some players coming across from netball, and Anderson said a premiership would be a remarkable achievement for those girls.
