For workers’ and motorists’ safety, a reduced 40km/h speed limit and traffic control will be in place between 6.30am and 5pm on weekdays.
Work starts Monday, October 10, in both the north and southbound lanes, weather permitting.
Minor delays may be experienced.
Some lanes will remain closed until Friday afternoons to allow the new road surface to set, with all lanes open on weekends to improve traffic flow along the motorway.
The speed limit will revert to 80km/h outside of work hours.
Roads and Maritime Services thanks motorists for their patience while work is carried out.
