Any member of the Goulburn community with a love of singing is invited to come along.
Organiser of the Goulburn Happening Sing Sara Jo Gylany said it is a new way to experience being in a group of singers belting out a song in harmony, without having to commit to a weekly rehearsal.
“Lots of people can’t commit to a regular weekly choir, or haven’t found a group in sync with their soul,” Ms Gylany said.
“This is a chance for you to get your singing fix and hang out with some friends at the same time. Start the night off with a drink, then learn a three-part version of a pop song, led by Stuart Davis, with David Bidwell on guitar.”
She said the whole thing would be filmed and uploaded to Youtube.
Stuart Davis has been leading choirs and singing events of all shapes and sizes for many years. He runs three choirs, takes singing tours of Morocco, Tonga, Spain, Croatia, Vanuatu and Cuba and runs workshop weekends and festivals around the country.
