She achieved a distinction and a double major in Accounting and Human Resource Management.
She travelled to Toowoomba to her graduation ceremony in April with husband, Brendan, and three young children, Oliver, Abigail and Edith. She juggled studying with parenting and working in the Local Health District.
She completed her studies last November.
“It was a proud moment for me when I walked across the stage at graduation with some of her biggest supporters sitting in the crowd, seeing the result of the last four year’s of hard work and sacrifice come to a climax,” she said.
In February, Dannielle joined the graduate program of EY in Canberra, a global network of member firms and is enjoying her work.
She said she travels to Canberra for work most days but has also been afforded the opportunity to work remotely when it suits both EY and herself.
She has enrolled to complete her Chartered Accountancy, a further three- year qualification.
“I thank my large support network that has encouraged, supported and babysat every step of the way. She admits it has been a team effort and that there should be a few more names alongside hers on her degree,” she said.
