The Goulburn Country University Centre has now been incorporated as a public company limited by guarantee – which allows us to move forward into the nitty gritty of our proposal.

We are further along the way in our negotiations for our preferred location for the University Centre, which is within the TAFE Goulburn Campus. The board of directors will now begin to work on our proposal for funding, which will go to Country University Centres for a decision – this group is investigating options for centres around  NSW and they have been very positive about the Goulburn effort.

If we are successful in our funding application we will move onto advertising for a centre manager for the project, and begin to market and promote the centre in the lead up to 2018!

Without a major sponsor we simply could not run this great event, which in 2016 raised over $15,000 for local charities. This year’s Golf Day will take place on Friday, November 24. The beneficiaries will be the Challenge Foundation, Goulburn Uniting Church Drop-in Centre and the Goulburn Loco Roundhouse Preservation Society.
