To help get people in the retro groove, the Mike Baker Band will be cranking out an evening's worth of Carole King goodness when they reprise their popular tribute show “The Tapestry Experience: Songs of Carole King” in a special one-off performance at the Goulburn Regional Conservatorium on Friday, September 15.
This show is part of the GRC’s Homegrown concert series, which features local Goulburn musicians: Mike Baker, Keva Abotomey, Charlotte Lock, Garth Prentice and Gooch Wilson.
They will present the much loved "Tapestry" album in its track-by-track entirety in the first half of the show.
After intermission, the band will present a fantastic selection of Goffin/King songs which were covered by artists as diverse as the Beatles, Monkees, Carpenters and the Animals. It's going to be a great night!
The concert is on Friday, September 15 from 7:30pm at the Goulburn Regional Conservatorium in the Paviour Recital Hall.
Tickets are $20/$15/$10 and available from the GRC 4821 8833 | www.thegrc.com.au or online at www.trybooking.com/RSJA.
