Major/Minor Three Bowl Pairs Results: Joye McCullen, Ann Redhead had a win over Nola O’Keefe and Lesley Thoms; Helan White, Margaret Lawless had a win over Pat Piggott and Mary Leslie; Barbara Tilley, Heather Thornton had a win over Fay Moran and Dot Wilson; Helan White, Margaret Lawless had a win over Joye McCullen and Ann Redhead; Barbara Tilley, Heather Thornton had a win over Sue Bland and Edith Rice; Cheryl Corby, Robyn Hawkins had a win over Debra Scott and Marie Thompson; Wendy Frey, Judy Cooke had a win over Margaret Jeffs and Carol Simpson.
The semi finals will be played on Thursday 12th October between; M Lawless team v H Thornton team and R Hawkins team v J Cooke’s team.
The winners from each game will play the final in the afternoon.
No social bowls were played on Tuesday.
Thursday social bowls; Chris McCullen, Gill Lumsden had a win over Fay Moran and Ann Redhead, Barbara Tilley, Joye McCullen and Karen Marshall had a win over Debra Scott, Pat Piggott and Yogi.
The ten ladies that were away at Norfolk Island are back safe and sound. One of our new ladies was in a composite team that made it into the final eight, so well done Sue. Everyone enjoyed their time away.
Birthday wishes this week are extended to Amy Davis.

Eddie Hawkins and Russell Lieschke teamed up to win the 4 ball best ball stableford event with 47 points on Sunday. Alan and Lachlan Bill were next best with 46 followed by Jeremy Harrison and Tony Clewett 45 and Ken Wray and Don Grimston made up the rundown on countback with 44. Chris Elliott won the nearest the pin on the 5th sponsored by Goulburn Produce and Mitre 10, while the Goulburn Prostate cancer support Group 4th drive and Pitch was not won.
Notices: Sat Oct 14 Par 3 tee from 8am to 3pm. Sunday Oct 15 Stableford. Thanks to the volunteers for their course work over the past week. Bi Rite guessing competition starts soon with a $500 voucher first prize, $200 hogget for 2nd and $100 third prize. Anyone who can help sell the tickets please organise to take a book or two.

Goulburn Soldiers Club
12 hole Competition
Kerry Bensley scored 28 points last week to lead the field ahead of Don Grimston 27, Russell Schmitt and Bryson Plumb both on 26, and Russel Lieschke Eddie Hawkins, Chris Ryan and Bryan Norris all on 25. The Kevin Allen consistency comp still has another couple of rounds to go with Tony Clewett still in the lead with Don Grimston and Chris Ryan both close behind. The comp details are in the clubhouse window.
Juniors
Nitika Chandola won the junior stableford event on Saturday with 13 points followed by Elsey Slater and Rheannah Webb both on 12 points. Par 3 is on this Saturday with juniors teeing off around 8.30am.
Ladies
The competition was 18 holes stroke and putting. 09/10/2017 "The division one winner today for the 18 holes stroke was Di Schmitt with 69 nett and the division two winner was Georgina Cook with 73 nett. Putting in division one went to June Spillane with 31 putts on a count back from Ratna Rankmore and division two was won by Georgina Cook with 30 putts.Ball run down went to 75 nett
Next week 16th October is 18 holes Stableford and Nearest the Pin, Duty person is Georgina Cook and tee time is 8.45 checkin time for 9.00am start. Next Saturday the 14th October is Par 3 Day with tee off between 8am to 2pm. All welcome to play handicap or not. Bring the family for a game. AGM is on the 30/10/2017 after golf. Nomination form are at club for anyone wishing to nominate for committee for 2018.
