A 5-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a reversing car in a Mosman car park.
The accident happened around 9.40am in a car park on Spit Road, and emergency services, including a CareFlight helicopter, were called to the scene.
The boy was airlifted to The Children's Hospital at Westmead with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
An ambulance spokesman said the young boy has a suspected femur and pelvic fractures.
A crime scene has been established and officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit will be conducting investigations.
The male driver was taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
