Goulburn Speedway will come to life on Saturday evening with the $5000 purse Production Sedans Rocky Hill Royale. Last year the event was won by Wayne Bourke from Leeton with Damien McAlister second and his brother Craig third. They will all be back on the track on Saturday night trying to get their hands on some of the prize money as will the Australian Production Sedan Champion, Trevor Mills from Corowa. In all, 19 drivers have nominated for the Rocky Hill Royale including David House and Darren Snowden from Goulburn. Visiting drivers are coming from as far afield as Gympie in Queensland and Wangaratta in Victoria.

“Another big event in South Australia has kept some drivers away,” Damien McAlister said. “ Even though the field is not as large as previous we are expecting there is a quality field of very experienced drivers for our event.”
The Rocky Hill Royale will be decided after three heats with a 30-lap all in final.
Other classes racing on the program are the Legend Cars with 20 nominations, Micro Sprints and Modified Sedans. Gates open at 4pm and racing starts at 6pm. The canteen will be operating as usual and people who still have their tickets from the washed out meeting on November 11 can use them on Saturday.
