A woman suffered minor injuries in a car accident on the Hume Highway on Wednesday morning.

The 19-year-old Shell Cove woman was driving north, some 5km south of Goulburn near Coles Lane at 8.10am when her silver Subaru left the road, veered across the median and hit the armco railing running beside the southbound lane, police said.
The car’s airbags deployed and the woman suffered a sore back and hand injuries. She was conveyed by ambulance to Goulburn Base Hospital. Police and NSW Fire Brigade also attended the scene.
Police said the woman had fallen asleep at the wheel. She was issued an infringement notice for negligent driving.
