The very popular Spooky Men’s Chorale are returning to Goulburn for a good cause.

They are coming back for Parkinson’s Awareness Week to play at the inaugural Shakin’ Cocktail Party at the Goulburn Workers Club at 7pm, this Friday, April 13.

The Spooky Men’s Chorale performed recently at the Goulburn Musical Conservatorium to a sell-out crowd and have just returned from a successful tour of New Zealand.

A spokesperson for the Goulburn Parkinson's Disease Support Group said all funds raised would be staying local and going to the Support Group’s Specialist Parkinson’s nurse fund.

“The ultimate goal is to raise enough funds to support the full time employment of such a nurse to provide care and assistance to people living with Parkinson’s disease and their carers within our local community,” the spokesperson said.

Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition that affects movement and co-ordination. For more info, visit their website www.parkinsonsnsw.org.au or call 1800 644 189.
