Goulburn Mulwaree mayor Bob Kirk said the plan set out a clear vision and a number of measurable objectives and actions that would be achieved within the coming four years. He said this was another opportunity for residents of Marulan to engage before the Village Plan is finalised. “We know that the Marulan community loves their village and has a clear vision for the area,” Cr Kirk said.
“Marulan is a fast growing village and it is important that we work together to plan the village future rather than setting sitting back and letting it happen. The first community discussion held in November last year was well attended and I look forward to discussing the draft Village Plan with residents on April 19.” Action priorities included within the document include undertaking a Village Landscape Master Plan, development of the soccer fields into a multi-use community facility with improved amenities and designing and building a new wastewater treatment plan.
The consultation meeting will be at the Marulan Memorial Hall, George Street, 6.30-8.30pm on April 19.
