Pittman is a two-time world champion, and a four time Commonwealth Champion in the 400 metre hurdles.
She was the first Australian woman to compete in both the winter and summer Olympics.
And, Pittman is coming to Goulburn.
Goulburn Library will soon be hosting the author and champion athlete.
Now an author, single mother and training to be a doctor, Pittman will speak both about her athletic career, and her life following.
She will also discuss her experience writing autobiography, ‘Just Another Hurdle’. Published in 2017, the book details Pittman’s life on the public stage following her meteoric athletic success.
Library Manager Erin Williams encouraged those of all ages to attend, saying Pittman’s story of triumph and defeat was an inspiration to all.
