Jump Inn Goulburn posted on their Facebook page that: “It is with deep regret that we have to inform our customers of our closure due to insurance coverage within the trampoline industry.
“We want to thank all our customers for your support over the years.”
Cassie Rudd from Jump Inn Goulburn confirmed the centre’s last day of operation would be Sunday, April 29.
Ms Rudd said a lot of trampolining centres across the state were closing down due to rising insurance costs.
“No one wants to insure a trampoline centre anymore and a lot of the small centres are closing,” she said.
“One at Wagga Wagga also closed about a month ago.
“The insurance has gone up so high that operators can not afford it anymore. It is very sad for Goulburn children and parents.
“It was a place where the children could get off the screens and expend some energy, especially with winter coming on.”
The facility is owned by the Goulburn Workers Club and at meeting at the club on April 20, it was decided to close the facility.
Goulburn Workers CEO Brett Gorham also expressed sadness that the facility was closing.
“The Workers Club did not wish to close it,” Mr Gorham said.
“The reason it has to close this week is the insurance is expiring and we have not been able to secure another insurance broker for the facility, even though we searched as far away as London in an attempt to do so.”
The club has not decided yet what to do with the building. Over 200 people took to social media to express their sadness about the closure.
