Beginning on Saturday May 5, the race started off competitively, and Jacob Emmerton, Riley Fleming, Callum Emmerton, John Roberts, Glenn Apps, Isaac Hogan, and Wayne Bensley all made strong starts.
Fleming was the standout for the club on Saturday, finishing in ninth position, only 17 seconds behind the leader, Thomas Hubbard from New Zealand.
Roberts was the second Goulburn rider to finish the first race, coming in at 27th in the hundred-strong race, while the rest finished between 38th and 91st.
The second day was a harder slog for the Goulburn contingent, with Fleming struggling to maintain the form he found on Saturday and finishing second among the Goulburn riders at 25th.
Jacob Emmerton took the honours for Goulburn on Sunday, coming in at 22nd and finishing 31 seconds behind the winner, Robert Gray from Wagga Wagga.
Only one other Goulburn rider, Callum Emmerton, competed on the second day, and he finished not far behind his compatriots in 32nd place.
The club offered its congratulations to Emmerton and the rest of the riders in a Facebook post.
