There will be over 100 market stalls both inside and out. There is something for everyone. It’s not just about the spuds, you’ll be amazed at the diversity on offer at the many market stalls. Prepare yourself for an encounter will all sorts of interesting goodies, and don’t forget to pick up that last minute Mother’s Day gift.
The Patata Café will be presenting an exciting selection of cooking demonstrations. The expert culinary cast includes Juliet Cullen (Xpeak Wine), Jenelle Croatto (nutritionist, food writer and serious foodie) and Alina-Alexandra Piloiu (Romanian delights).
All creatures great and small: you are likely to see a selection of them in the Festival Pet Parade. There is even a category for the pet that most looks like a potato! Aside from achieving fame and glory in this prestigious event, the winners and place-getters in each category will take home a fabulous prize.
The Crookwell District Art Gallery will be showcasing some of the best local artists over the weekend. The exhibition and sale will display art, sculpture and photography by artists from in and around the Crookwell region.
Fancy an exciting trip on a trike? Trike Adventures will be offering thrill-seekers exhilarating rides around town on their 2010 Oz-Trike. All the protective gear is given to those before embarking on their windswept adventure.
Dog lovers will delight in the Crookwell Spud Dogs Flyball demonstrations. Flyball is a fast passed canine relay team event that challenges a dog’s speed, agility and intelligence in a race over a series of hurdles to retrieve and catch a tennis ball.

Crookwell Brew and Bake
Everyone is invited to join in the fun at the 7th Annual Crookwell Brew & Bake. The Brew & Bake is where local and visiting campfire cooks and home brewers will be showing off their cooking skills.
In addition, there will be bonfires, old yarns and storytelling, bush poetry and music. The Brew & Bake is a fun event for all, with camping available onsite at the Crookwell Showground.
Saturday, May 19: 1pm Lunch - soup and damper; 6.30pm Dinner - delicious food from the campfire ovens.
Sunday, May 20: 8am Bush poet’s leisurely breakfast/brunch.
