Like many, I travel the Barton Highway – day in, day out. I have been curiously watching the evolution of the new safety barriers. Would the money used to do this be better spent on duplicating the highway?

As I see it, these barriers will provide the mechanism for incompetent drivers to be able to now rebound into oncoming traffic causing complete carnage instead of simply taking themselves and an unfortunate tree or cow out. Just saying.
