In my recent trips to the Goulburn tip I continue to be impressed by the way that the whole area has been upgraded.

It is no longer a dirty site with bits of paper and plastic and, dare I say it, rubbish, floating around and there are no dangerous nails and screws or bits of sharp metal in the dump bins area which invariably used to find their way into vehicles' tyres.
The area is swept continuously and is kept clean and tidy - in as much as is possible of course in such a facility.
On my last three trips I was approached by council tip employees – a young man and a young woman – who asked if they could assist me in any way and enthusiastically helped in moving heavy metal scrap from my ute into the metal recycling bins, and all done with a friendly smile and great attitude.
Congratulations to the Goulburn Mulwaree Council in introducing such an improvement. It almost makes a visit to the tip a pleasure!
