There has been some discussion about the need for an association to represent the community and liaise with Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council .
We have Braidwood Connect for businesses and Braidwood and Villages Tourism for tourists, but there is no organisation for the community in general.
A meeting is planned to discuss this, and hopefully to form an association for residents.
Councillors from Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council will all be invited.
The date is May 17, the venue is the meeting/function room at the Servicemens club, and the time is 7pm.
If you think we need a forum for residents to discuss local issues and communicate with QPRC and other levels of government, please come along and share your ideas.
