We were inundated with registrations and before we set off we had nearly 40 vehicles comprising of really nice cars and bikes.
From Crookwell we went to Gunning for a short stop and to draw the first of four raffles. From here we went to Goulburn where we were met with more cars and another raffle draw, before heading off to the Taralga Sports Club for lunch. The meals were fantastic which everyone enjoyed whilst having a chat and catch up. We had another mini raffle draw and sold the tickets for the main draw. The final count was 45 vehicles and about 80 people, which was absolutely fantastic and the generosity of everyone was second to none. Laggan Pub was the final stop for the final draw and a chat.
We sincerely thank everyone who came along and a special mention to the Crookwell Car Club the Iron Mine Cruisers for putting the word out to their various members and friends.
Thank you to the people that travelled from Narooma to be a part of this and also the many people and business houses that donated goods for the raffles: JD’s Rural & Hardware, Soul Pattinson Crookwell, All Wright Workwear, TJC Products, Dave Allport Electrical, AGC Property Services, Davies Newsagency, Stella’s and Canberra Subaru.
The total amount of money raised for the wellness centre was $1151.75. Thank you all who made the day possible.
