A crowd thronged through the gate for the school’s main fundraiser of the year. The event included a large variety of stalls, rides and jumping castle, a chocolate wheel, R2D2 Android builders, face painting, show bags and raffles with great prizes.
The Australian Air Force Cadets were on hand with their flight simulator demonstration and the Rural Fire Service kept a safe watch on proceedings, with one of its vehicles present.
Teacher John Webb took to the stage with his band and entertained the crowd. Over the way, sausages sizzled on a barbecue and kids tucked into sweet treats.
A dazzling display by Fireworks Australia capped off the night.
The school’s fireworks night coordinator Leonie Mitchell said the event raised much-needed funds which went into facilities and educational resources.
