Hundreds of dogs will take their owners to the Guide Hall in Victoria Park from 9am to 2pm for the event, which is a major outing on the social calendar for dogs.
Dog walker Natalie Jeffrey said the walk starts at 11am and it is 2.5km route, around the perimeter of the park.
“The RSPCA will be taking registrations from 9am on the day,” Ms Jeffrey said.
“There are also stalls, competitions, merchandise, a coffee van, face painting and a barbecue courtesy of Argyle Rotary.
“The competitions include: biggest dog, smallest dog, best dressed, best trick and the dog who most looks like their owner.
“There will also be free veterinary checks and Olga from DogSmart Australia will be there to assist dogs who may be experiencing behavioural issues.”
