“It’s our special playground and we just love it.”
After hearing about graffiti last week that had been painted on the new Adventure Playground at Victoria Park, the students felt compelled to express their disappointment.
The playground had been open for less than a month when it was vandalised.
The letter stated that 18 of the 22 children in the class had already spent time at the playground.

“Some of our favourite things to do are playing on the spinning cone wiht the net around it, the huge slide, the flying fox and climbing the big spider web,” the letter read.
“We know that you must be 18 years or older to buy spray paint, so the people who did this are almost adults, not kids.”
The class suggested that the police could drive past every few hours to check that the “silly, immature people” are not there.
“We want them to start respecting other people’s property,” it read.
The letter was signed off individually by all the pupils and ended with a “we are proud of our city.”
Mayor Bob Kirk asked the school and the class if he could share the letter to show the great pride the children have in the city.
