There are a number of new classes and activities in the pipeline for members to enjoy during the expected cold weather.
Last Wednesday, members were given a taste of one of the planned classes when they were invited to come along to sample croquet.
To warm up before the game began, they were treated to some home made pumpkin soup, chocolate brownies and a cuppa.
Bill and Helen Smith explained the rules and gave a demonstration of the game, with the help of a couple of volunteers.
There was such a good response we are doing it again this Wednesday (June 20) and including the game of bocce as well this time, another of the activities we will be including next term.
Tai Chi for Arthritis, Kayaking and German for Beginners will also be starting.
For those who prefer something a little more sedate we have the card game 500, Chess, Let's Go to the Movies and, of course, most of our regular classes will be continuing.
Whoever said there was nothing to do in Goulburn must not know about U3A!
Join with us in celebrating 2018 as the Year of Lifelong Learning. It’s never too late to discover a new skill, interest or area of expertise, or to share one with others.
