At this time of discussion about industrial wind turbine development in the Yass Valley region, it is perhaps timely for me to recall a motion on this subject passed into National Party policy at the 2011 State Conference of the NSW Nationals:

'The Nationals support a moratorium on all further development of wind turbines, including those for which applications have been lodged, until all social (including health), financial (including property rights) and environmental aspects have been fully investigated.'
To my knowledge this remains National Party policy.
