Soccer season is getting close to semi final time and the end of the season for the mini roo players. On Saturday there were hundreds of spectators, mostly family members watching the juniors playing to the best of their abilities.

There are between two and four rounds to go before the finals series and for the non-competitive grades four more Saturdays of fun and learning to play better and a chance to score a goal or more.
Unlike some seasons there has not been many, if any games cancelled because of wet weather. Association and club officials are hoping that the enjoyment the families have gained will encourage them to come back next season.
Some of the young players have also participated in school teams and may even have a round or more in the schools competition to go.
For parents it is time to start thinking about summer sport for their youngsters as the touch and cricket seasons approach. For the teens and adults there is the possibility of summer soccer, an after work or school activity that proved quite popular over the last summer season.
Grand final day for the 2018 Southern Tablelands Football Association soccer season is September 22.
