“Get Ready Weekend is a chance for residents to do their bit to prepare and protect their family and property in the event of a fire,” NSW RFS Superintendent Peter Alley said.
Events will be held across the Southern Tablelands, including one at Bunnings Goulburn this Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 4pm.
The event will include firefighting displays, opportunities to get on board a fire truck, seeing specialist firefighting equipment up close and having your picture taken with a firefighter.
