Melissa Hilleard and Marnie Wragge-Morley are hosting the markets.
There will be 18 local stall holders providing a range of quality handmade wares, services and homemade treats.
“We are showcasing local businesses,” Ms Hilleard said.
“There are a lot of people in the district that make and sell amazing products and they just need an outlet.”
They want to run the night markets four times a year, with each season.
“We are trying to do it quarterly so it it reflects the change of season,” she said.
The two hosts have businesses of their own and Ms Hilleard drew inspiration from those out of town who travel to markets such as the Bus Depot Markets in Canberra.
“I run Binda Soy Candles and Marnie runs Holly and Twig Jewellery,” she said.
“We wanted to provide a place where people can stay in Goulburn to get a great quality market and show off the businesses in our town.”
Ms Hilleard said the markets aim to “attract a wide range of locals who are all about supporting local small business.”
“We are hoping that our event can lead to a range of other events to help to shine a light on what our town has to offer.”
Harvest Cafe will be staying open to provide a night menu and Lake George winery will also be there. There will be live music and a raffle to raise money for farmers. It is sponsored by ACR Asbestos Consultants & SC Design Solutions.
