Visitors to the Goulburn Post website will be able to subscribe for full online access to the latest news from the city and across the region for $3 a week.
As announced in September, the new subscription offer will include around-the-clock digital access to all of the local news, sport and opinion published by the Goulburn Post, as well as essential community information and the latest national news and sport, plus lifestyle, health and travel advice.
Readers can sign up and pay at goulburnpost.com.au from Tuesday, October 2.
The first 30 days of website access is free for subscribers, who can choose to pay monthly or take out an annual subscription with a 20 per cent discount.
Subscribers will also get access to digital replicas of each day’s print edition of the Goulburn Post so they can read every page of the newspaper on their iPad, android tablet, phones or desktops.
There’s also the option to receive regular news updates, including breaking-news alerts, by email making it easier to browse the latest headlines and see what’s making news in the region.
Just as our newspaper has a cover price, we’re now asking online audiences to support us as subscribers so the Goulburn Post can continue providing the quality local journalism they trust to keep our community informed, entertained and connected.
From Tuesday, visitors to the Goulburn Post’s website will be able to read five articles a month for free before they are invited to subscribe for unlimited website access.
Some content will remain open to all website visitors after Tuesday, including classified advertisements, such as birth and funeral notices, and recommended articles featuring local businesses.
Nationally syndicated real estate and motoring content via Domain and drive.com.au can be accessed for free from the homepage.
Local news headlines and article summaries on the homepage will remain visible to website visitors and non-subscribers.
