He will be hosting a brand new television series called ‘Roads to Riches’ which is produced by Essential Media and Entertainment.
Mr Callaghan will collect antiques from homes, sheds, spare rooms and attics of everyday Australians and will sell them to various restorers and auctioneers to give owners the best possible profit.
Matilda Teernstra from Essential Media and Entertainment said they are looking for people from Goulburn to join the show.
“We are searching for locals with great vintage treasures and even greater stories to be on the show,” Ms Teernstra said.
“From the smallest knick-knacks to the rarest collections, we want to hear the stories behind the stuff.”
Filming begins on October 15 and will continue until the end of January.
Mr Callaghan had been thinking about doing a show like ‘Road to the Riches’ for a couple of years and it finally came to fruition.
“This is Lucas’s own passion project, so he’s really been a driving force,” she said.
“It was his idea.
“He really wanted to use his skills and talent to give something back to the community.”
To be a part of the show, send an email to riches@essential.media and include your name, location and a description and/or photos of your items.
‘Road to Riches’ screens early to mid next year and will be shown in Australian and the United Kingdom.
The channel is undisclosed at this stage.
