Members are cooking up a storm to raise money for breast cancer at the CWA Rooms in Montague Street. They’ll have eggs, bacon, hash browns and a table laden with goodies such as pastries and cakes. Tea and coffee are also available. Prices range from $8 per person to $15 for a family. Trade tables, raffles and lucky door prizes are also on offer. The breakfast runs from 8am to 1pm to cater for latecomers.
Secretary Denise Crouch said people could also donate separately to the cause, which the CWA felt strongly about. The organisation is lobbying for equitable access to medical treatment between the country and city.
