Pink Ribbon brekky
The Mulwaree CWA is inviting the community to join them for its annual Pink Ribbon breakfast on Monday, October 15.
Members are cooking up a storm to raise money for breast cancer at the CWA Rooms in Montague Street. They’ll have eggs, bacon, hash browns and a table laden with goodies such as pastries and cakes. Tea and coffee are also available. Prices range from $8 per person to $15 for a family. Trade tables, raffles and lucky door prizes are also on offer. The breakfast runs from 8am to 1pm to cater for latecomers.
Secretary Denise Crouch said people could also donate separately to the cause, which the CWA felt strongly about. The organisation is lobbying for equitable access to medical treatment between the country and city.
Sewer work commencing
Starting on Monday, October 15, Goulburn Mulwaree Council’s contractor, Interflow will be conducting maintenance and repairs to Goulburn sewer mains in the CBD. The aim is to improve the sewer system, and by extension, the environment and public health.
