Goulburn’s Diana Cheetham is a finalist in the Outstanding Young Entrepreneur category, Dream Admin Services is in the Startup Superstar category and Community Plus is in the Excellence in Innovation category.
The awards celebrate business excellence in entrepreneurship, innovation, export, business growth, sustainability and employment practices.
Hair and makeup artist Diana Cheetham was nominated by a few Goulburn clients and friends and said it was a great achievement.
“It shows that you are doing something right for them,” she said.
“It was a great process to go through for any business as you realise what you stand for.”
Dream Admin Services is a bookkeeping, administration, personal assistance and business marketing/social media support service.
A spokesperson from the business said the result was a reflection of the amazing, but challenging year they had.
“Making it through to the final solidifies and recognises the hard work, dedication and passion of our team who are all wholly dedicated to providing our clients with professional, quality and modern business solutions, which are delivered with a sense of warmth, personalisation and complete transparency.”
“We live in an amazing community that is beaming with talent, so to be acknowledged and recognised for what we have created at Dream Admin Services is nothing short of an honour.”
Community Plus is also a finalist and project manager Dr Ursula Stephens felt thrilled to be in the running.
“Workspace 2580 is regarded as an excellent collaboration with council and a model that can be duplicated in other regional communities to foster start ups and entrepreneurs, especially in the social services and NDIS space,” she said.
There are a total of 164 finalists across 12 categories.
The winners will be announced at the NSW Business Awards Gala dinner on Friday, November 23 at Luna Park in Sydney.
