She was born in Jakarta, 1979, went attended medical school there and has been practicing medicine in Indonesia for 12 years. She currently residing in Australia and working on her medical registration here.
Argyle Rotary Club president Heni Hardi inducted Ms Bent on Tuesday, November 6.
She spoke of her involvement in projects such as free health services for people in need, working together with the church and Inter-religious organization and also in river health education for residents living on the riverbank in her hometown.
She also helped out with some Argyle Rotary projects, including the Rural Men’s Health Van and the End Polio Day Fun Walk 2018.
"I can see that we share the same vision – helping others and that we are trying to make the world a better place, one step at a time, starting with our community,” Ms Bent said.
“The most important thing that keeps me coming back is that I feel welcomed by the members, their support and trust. It is an honour to become a part of Goulburn Argyle Rotary Club family".
