Perfect weather was conducive to the large crowd at Girls Day Out at the Goulburn Races with most of the racegoers going out of their way to dress up for the occasion.

Women of all ages and almost as many men headed to the Goulburn Racecourse for a fun afternoon of socialising and generally letting their hair down.
The seven event racing program saw plenty of money change hands as some got lucky and others helped the bookmakers put bread on the table. Local band Oh La La kept the music pumping between races and the fashions on the field competition that attracted plenty of interest too.
In the fashions on the field competition the Girls Day Out young race goer was Isabella Crockett from Nowra and the runner-up was Josh Gilkes from Goulburn.
June Lang a regular Goulburn racegoer won the millinery award and the runner-up was Stephanie Kwong from Urila.
Josh Cohen was the only male in the competition and he got to present Mrs Lang with her flowers from Beks Bloomz.
The best dressed gent on Saturday was Liam Eden and Zac Bladwell also of Goulburn was the runner-up.
In the local best dressed category Minna Peaty of Breadalbane was the lucky winner and Andre Parlett from Goulburn was the runner-up.
The best dressed lady at the raceday was judge by Bek Gerstner from Beks Bloomz, Kerry Chalker from the Goulburn Wig Library, a beneficiary of the race day and Rosey Stronach from competition sponsor the Goulburn Post as Georgie Stephenson of Goulburn and the runner-up was Hayley Chapman also from Goulburn.
The winning couple were Adam Rapsey and Jen Lewis from Canberra and the runners-up were Claire Stutchbury and Jack Corkhill of Goulburn.
