Cootamundra trainer Terry O'Keefe is hopeful his pair, Smart Desire and Sock's Desire, continue to show they are headed in the right direction for a tilt at the Workers Club Goulburn Cup when they step out in the AGH Demolition Canberra Stakes.

The litter brothers have been racing in fine recent form, each winning last start at the track, and both stringing together three wins from their past five outings.
"They are both going alright at the moment," Terry said. "If they keep going this way, I'll give them a shot at the [Goulburn] Cup."
Heats of the Cup will be run on Tuesday November 27, with the $20,000 to the winner final on December 4.
"Smart Desire is generally a dog who likes to come from the seven or eight, but he's got the two on Thursday. He likes the rail, but he likes a bit of room to move. We'll just have to see how he fares from the two. Having said that he jumped really well last week [from the five]."
Smart Desire stepped well and led throughout to win in 24.77s, the best of the day last Thursday, marginally eclipsing the 24.80s he posted winning at the venue a week earlier.
"We actually expected him to go a little bit better than that. He is going well now. I had a few health issues - I had to have a stent put into my heart - and Peter Sims had the dogs for a while. I've only had him back for a few [seven] starts, but he's going well.
"Sock's Desire [box 6] likes it out wide, but I don't think he's as quick as Smart Desire, but he'll be there somewhere. But I see Scientific Man is in the race and he'll be hard to beat."
The Mark Wilcox-trained Scientific Man has put together an impressive record of 12 wins and six second placings from 21 starts, including three wins from four outings at Goulburn, with a best of 24.81s. Last start he cleared out for a three and half length win in 19.68s over the 350m there.
Also in the handy field in Myrniong Magic, who took out a Regional Heat of the GRNSW + Ladbrokes Million Dollar Chase at Wagga back in September.
O'Keefe has five dogs in work, all out from the Spring Gun-Osti's Grace litter, and four of those will race at Goulburn on Thursday.
The only one missing is Joe's Desire, but the other two, Al's Desire and Mary's Desire, have both come up with the red.
Al's Desire, a winner of five of his past six starts, the last three in succession, is in the Ladbrokes Cash Out Stakes over 350m, while Mary's Desire will contest the Ladbrokes Multimaker Stakes over the 350m.
"Al's Desire should be hard to beat again. He likes the inside draw and he's hit a purple patch at the moment. He's flying," O'Keefe said.
"If Mary's Desire jumps, she will be hard to beat but if she doesn't and doesn't put her best foot forward early, she could be in a bit of trouble. There's a pretty fair dog in that race - Hardaway Harada."
The first race on Goulburn's 10-race card is scheduled for 12.34pm.
