We welcomed back Gwen Varena who is recuperating from an illness.
Get well soon
The welfare ladies visited Judith Roper and Iris Roberts who are both still on the sick list.
Our thoughts are with our president Margaret Gooch who is not at all well.
Looking forward to seeing you at our next meeting, Margaret!
Winners
The winners of the raffles were Delma Nelson and Judy Coe; and lucky door prizes were won by Maria Kenk and Jennifer Townsend.
We didn’t have a guest speaker; however, we did have a competition for the best hat and costume for Halloween.
The winner of the best hat was Margaret Thompson and the best costume went to Sandra Holmes who received a new broomstick for her prize!
Special thanks
A special thank you is extended to Maree de Britt for her wonderful contribution to the Trading Table in supplying plants, slices, ghost meringues, coffin cake and marshmallows.
Next outing
Our next social outing will be morning tea at Cathy Hunt’s home at 8 Arnheim Street, Goulburn, commencing at 10.30am.
All are welcome and would you please bring something on a plate to share.
Our next meeting will be Thursday December 6 at the Goulburn Soldiers Club where we will enjoy a traditional Christmas lunch for $35, which is an adjustment from our original cost.
Please contact Margaret Gooch – telephone 4822 1859 or 0409 904 917 – if you wish to attend either of these functions.
