Tash and Julieanne Horseman from Racing NSW judged the fashions in the field.
The best dressed lady was Sally Martin from Canberra and runner- up, Brittney Tamou from Braidwood. Winning the local ladies section was Cobie Sheehan, with Fran Dewsbury taking home the runner-up prize. The junior awards went to Lilian Bradley from Wollongong and the runner-up, Barclay Tamou from Braidwood.
The millinery award is one where local designers’ creations often come to the fore and this year Cody-Leigh Hirst won wearing a creation by her mum. The runner-up was Kathryn Jones from Bungendore who matched her outfit to the hat she had chosen.
The best dressed man was Doug Simpson from Canberra who pipped Robert Bill for the honour.
It was a full house for the popular Goulburn Cup luncheon with race day sponsors and club members keen to hear tips from Chris Scholtz as well as addresses by the special guests.
