The two weeks prior saw the club welcome back members Elke O’Rourke, Olivia Stutchbury, and Jacqueline Oberg after missing the season start, and Steve Armstrong returned after missing the last five years of competition.
Angus Elder and Trent Morrison also made welcome debuts with the club, which helped to bolster the intermediate division to the largest it has seen in many seasons.
With the season then in its fourth week, most competitors continued to show sharp improvements in their race times.
Most notable of these were Steve Armstrong and Kelly McKellar, who both had two-minute personal bests in week four.
Nadine Moroney, James Armstrong, Trent Morrison, Jaemin Frazer and Aaron Marriot also recorded improvements, while long-term members Neil Kennedy, Nik Christen and Andrew Oberg returned workmanlike, consistent times which they generally manage to pump out season after season without fail.
