Their hard work is done and the results are out. 

How did your school fare?

There were a few fantastic results here. 

Lewis Golding was the top student with a well earnt ATAR of 95.6 and received a band six in ancient history and economics. 

He wants to study the Bachelor of Languages course at the Australian National University, majoring in French. 

Blessy Fernandez did superbly with a band six in biology and an ATAR of 91.15. 

She is looking to study health science at the Australian National University and hopes to get into the medicine industry. 

Lucinda Leten had a superb ATAR of 91.15 as well as having the eighth best result of 98 per cent for society and culture.

Her twin sister Mereki Leten had an ATAR of 88.20 with band sixes in ancient history and music.

Mulwaree High School principal Judith Stuart was extremely pleased with the results, but that wasn’t all she was impressed with.  

“Overall, we saw an improve an improvement on last year, but the HSC and what you achieve at the level is not just marks,” Ms Stuart said.

“We’ve got a number of students who have already been offered university places and some students achieved very well for their ability.”

The leaders led from the front here. 

Trinity Catholic College school captain and vice captain Gemma Hart and Cooper Pearce both eclipsed ATARs of 90. 

Rowena Russell and Bronwyn Webster also received great marks.

Trinity Catholic College assistant principal Lauren Shinfield felt the results were well deserved.

“Trinity would like to commend our HSC students for their substantial contribution to the college community this year,” Ms Shinfield said.

“As a college that focuses on developing well rounded individuals, we acknowledge the contribution of this cohort on the sporting field, as leaders, as volunteers, in creative and performing arts and in academia.

Results in biology, music, PDHPE, studies of religion and visual arts stood out from the other subjects.

Like the other schools, Goulburn High School principal Paul Hogan was delighted with the results. 

“Our students achieved formidable results in this year’s HSC,” Mr Hogan said.

“I would like to congratulate to the students, staff and parents on the efforts that have been put in.

“A large number of students have shown significant growth from the original standpoint, reflecting the quality of teaching and deep culture of learning at Goulburn High.

“The school was also instrumental in supporting students who transitioned to employment, apprenticeships and trainee-ships before the HSC.”
